Per capita consumption based on the drinking water supplied. This is calculated as the total supply of drinking water to households (according to VEWIN figures ) over a period of a year, divided by the average population size in that year. This water consumption may differ from household water consumption, which is calculated as the sum of the various usage components (shower, toilet, washing machine, etc.) per household member.
