This includes all fatalities as a result of an accident, such as a transport accident, a fall, drowning and poisoning. Violence, including murder, suicide and manslaughter, is not classified as an accident. Euthanasia and medical complications, pulmonary aspiration and legislative intervention are also not counted towards accidents.
