The Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij (NAM) is not only active in Groningen, but also in approximately 120 smaller gas fields spread across the provinces of Friesland, Drenthe, Overijssel, Noord-Holland, Zuid-Holland and on the edges of the province of Groningen. In addition, there are about 20 off-shore NAM locations.
