Cardiovascular diseases is a collective term for a large number of diseases related to the heart and the circulation, such as heart infarcts, heart failure, brain haemorrhage, vasal constrictions or aneurysm of the aorta. (ICD10-codes: I00-I99). This article focuses on, among others:

  • Acute heart infarct: (ICD10 codes: I21-I22);
  • Heart infarct: Total of the acute heart infarct and subsequent impact of a heart infarct (at least 28 days prior to death): ICD10 codes: I21-22, I25.8.
