Early 2013, there were approximately 147 thousand millionaire households, if home ownership and mortgage debt are included, accounting for 1.9 percent of all households in the Netherlands. Some 56 percent of Dutch households in 2013 owned the homes they live in, while 47 percent had a mortgage debt on their own homes.
