The survey ICT use by households and individuals is a telephone survey conducted annually since 2005. Since 2014, data are collected via internet and telephone. People who do not respond online are approached by telephone, if a number is available. Due to changes in the observation method, some 2014 results can no longer be compared to the results obtained in earlier years. Figures about listening to the radio, watching TV and online banking are not directly comparable to those published in earlier years. Questions on the use of online phone services have been changed since 2007. The results in the period 2008-2014 are mutually comparable, but are not entirely comparable to figures found in the preceding period. The use of tablet computers has been surveyed since 2013. The figures in this news release refer to individuals in the age category 12-74.
