Export shares are based on export figures provided by Eurostat, which implies that the export values also include quasi-transit trade. The Dutch definition (StatLine database) does not include figures on quasi-transit trade. On the basis of the Dutch definition, the share of the large emerging markets is not 2.5% but 2.9%. The export figures according to the European and Dutch definitions include re-exported goods.
