MEP stands for Environmental quality of electricity production (in Dutch Milieukwaliteit elektriciteitsproductie). Applications for MEP subsidies were accepted between July 2003 and the end of August 2006. Through MEP renewable electricity the production of is subsidised for a ten year period. If projects receive a substantial amount of support through other regulations, the MEP subsidy period is shorter. Back to article
