Basic leave

In statistics on collectively agreed wage rates, the basic leave scheme is taken, to which all employees are entitled. Some leave is not included in this scheme, as it is subject to certain conditions. For example extra days leave because of a certain age, or of shift work.

If this conditional leave is withdrawn in a collective agreement, and the basic leave is increased, this is reflected in the hourly wage rates. Hourly rates change as the annual working hours decrease. The monthly wage rate does not change, however.
