Contributors to educational institutions are the government, the private sector, households and organisations abroad. Government contributions to the private sector consist of subsidies to transport companies for transport of pupils. Government contributions to households consist of compensation of study-related costs and student grants.

Household spending on school costs not related to educational institutions are not included in the total.
