Dutch spent 141 million euro in China last year

In 2007, Dutch travellers to China spent 141 million euro, an increase by 3 percent relative to 2006. The total sum spent by Dutch travellers abroad also increased by 3 percent, totalling 13.9 billion euro in 2007.

Three quarters of the total Dutch spending abroad occurred within the European Union. Dutch visitors to China accounted for 1 percent of the total amount spent abroad. Since 2004, total spending by Dutch visitors to China has increased by more than 50 percent.
