Insecurity

Figures on feelings of insecurity are based on the National Safety Monitor, a survey conducted by Statistics Netherlands, together with the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK) and the Ministry of Justice. The survey is conducted annually in the first quarter among persons aged 15 years and older. Persons living in homes and institutions are not included in the survey.

The figures presented are based on a sample survey and consequently subject to a margin of error.
