Shops and (leisure) facilities refers to the number of local units in the sectors retail trade, services, hotels and restaurants, sports and culture. Local units in retail trade are mostly shops, in the services sector banks, video shops, laundries, hairdressers and beauty parlours. The sector hotels and restaurants comprises restaurants pubs, wine bars, discotheques, etc. Cultural facilities include cinemas, libraries and theatres. Sports facilities are sports fields, swimming pools and sports centres.
