Foreign military aid comprises Dutch involvement in crisis management operations and UN, NATO and EU supervised peacekeeping operations. Involvement consists of compulsory contributions and deployment of troops and equipment. Additional costs are also included in foreign military aid furthermore cover bonuses, travel and accommodation costs, the costs of equipment used during the operation, preparation and maintenance of equipment and part of the extra investments.
