Table explanation
This table provides data on happiness and satisfaction with life by residents of the Caribbean Netherlands aged 15 years and older in private households.
Breakdowns by sex, age and level of education are presented. These aspects are shown for the Caribbean Netherlands and also for the islands Bonaire, St Eustatius and Saba separately.
The data are based on the Omnibus Survey Caribbean Netherlands. This is a sample survey. This means that the figures shown are estimates. The precision of these estimates is represented in these tables by the 95% confidence interval. This interval contains the true (unknown) value with 95% certainty.
The Omnibus Survey was conducted for the first time in June and July 2013. The survey was conducted for the second time in October and November 2017 on Bonaire, and from January to March 2018 on Saba and Sint Eustatius. The third edition was carried out on all three islands from October 2021 to February 2022, and the survey was conducted for the fourth time from September 2025 to March 2026.
