Arable crops

Includes land with arable crops and land ready for cultivation. Contract
grown crops for third parties are also included. Uncultivated land at the
time of the census is included in the category of the next planned crop.
Seed for sowing is included in the arable crop concerned. The category
'Other arable crops' comprises unspecified seeds. Catch crops grown after
the main crop has been cleared are not included. Nurse crops are also
included.

Green fodder crops: Comprises:
- lucerne; and
- green maize.
