Includes areas with horticultural crops at the time of the census as well
as uncultivated areas where horticultural crops were planned. Also
included are crops which were initially grown under glass but subsequently
in the open and crops grown under flat glass.

- small fruit (not mechanically harvested); and

at the time of the census is included in the category of the next planned
crop.
