What is it?

After years of experimenting with texts for online vacancies, we have succeeded in adding data to job statistics based on online vacancies.
In May 2022, the first table showing vacancies by occupational group was published on StatLine.

Why?

This data can be used to derive the demand for occupations and, in future, identify the skills demanded in vacancies.

Social relevance

Whenever something happens in the labour market, it is first noticed in job vacancies. That is why job vacancy statistics produced by CBS are of great importance to ministries, companies, as well as for educational institutions and employees to gain insight into the labour market.
