Happiness and life satisfaction

Residents of the Caribbean Netherlands were asked how happy they were and how satisfied they were with various aspects of their lives: the life they are currently leading; the educational opportunities they have had in life so far; with their work or everyday life; and with the financial situation of their household.

Respondents were asked to give a score to each of these between 1 and 10, where 1 represented very unhappy or completely dissatisfied, and 10 represented very happy or completely satisfied.
