People of working age (between 15 years old and the state pension age)

The figures on the labour force in this news release relate to people aged between 15 years old and the state pension age. This enables the number of people in work to be compared with the total number of people who are not in employment and/or who have reached the state pension age. Generally, Statistics Netherlands presents data on people aged between 15 and 74 years, in order to ensure international comparability.
