Employee remuneration mainly concerns wages in the form of the money and in-kind benefits that are received by workers. This includes regular wages and bonuses, but also travel expenses and meals. Employee remuneration also includes the social contributions paid by employers, such as employer pension contributions and social insurance. It also includes sick pay and certain redundancy payments.
