5) Machine learning (e.g. deep learning). analysis, classification or pattern recognition in data
6) Robotic process automation: support for the automation of workflows or decision-making
7) Autonomous robots or drones: enabling the physical movement of machines by means of autonomous decisions based on observations of the surroundings
StatLine includes data on eight AI technologies. The eighth technology was added in 2025 and concerns generating images, videos or sound. This news release only looks at seven AI technologies in order to facilitate comparison between 2023 and 2024. As a result, the figures may vary slightly.
