Green crop protection products

Some crop protection products are classified as green or sustainable. For an idea of the scale of use involved, a list of agents (active substances included) that meet the CTGB's sustainability criteria or are on the list of agents permitted for use in organic agriculture, Annex I of Implementing Regulation 2021/1165, is provided under sources.

It is important to note that agents based on paraffin oil are on the list of inputs permitted in organic farming and are therefore classified as green. This does not mean, however, that these agents are used in organic farming in 2024.
