Riders of high-speed e-bikes must have a moped license, are required to wear a helmet and must ride their bicycles on the carriageway, unless otherwise indicated. These bicycles must also have a rear-view mirror and a moped license plate. Their speed may not exceed 45 kilometres per hour.
