The classification by agricultural holding type is based on economic value, which is measured in terms of the total standard production value in euros. A holding is classified as a non-grazing livestock farm if two-thirds or more of its total standard output comes from agricultural activities associated with this type of holding. Non-grazing livestock species are pigs, various types of poultry and rabbits. For more information, see the NSO classification of agricultural holdings 2021 (information in Dutch).
