Respondents aged 15 years or older were asked about their societal position:

This news report only covers the societal position of those aged between 15 (or 25) and 65. Based on the answers given to the question on societal status, the extent to which people with ASD are gainfully employed was examined. This excludes people aged 65 and over, many of whom are retired and also report low levels of ASD.
