Due to the correlation between education level and age (the older, the further along in the school career), it was decided to look at select age groups while breaking down by education level, consisting of ages that occur regularly at each of the education levels. In secondary education, this concerns 12 to 17-year-olds, and in vocational and higher education, this is 18 to 21-year-olds. Thus, the age classification differs from the standard classification in this publication (12 to 17-year-olds and 18 to 24-year-olds).
