How many Ukrainians were living in the Netherlands when the war broke out?
On 1 January 2022, the Netherlands had 21 thousand inhabitants of Ukrainian origin. Over a quarter were born in the Netherlands and have one or two parents born in Ukraine. Three quarters were born in Ukraine.
