How can I move a project (to another institution)?
The project leader of a new institution or a new project at the same institution must first request a new project via the CBS microdata portal and submit it for review, indicating that it concerns the move of a project, including the (old) project number to be moved. The project leader of the project to be moved must give permission for this move, which must be submitted in writing via the portal. This permission by e-mail is sufficient. The project leader of the project to be moved can share the relevant project information (research proposal, publication plan, GDPR basis and purpose, (custom-)files used, team members) with the project leader of the new project, or they can ask the advisor to do so. Once the new project has been created and submitted for review, the project leader of the project to be moved can change the project status of this project to "Move project" in the microdata portal via ‘Change project status’ on the project page.
