Petroleum products derived from petroleum-derived input materials, such as crude oil or petroleum condensate. The best-known products are petrol and diesel. It also includes products that are not used as a source of energy, but as raw materials or auxiliary materials. Examples of these include turpentine, lubricants, bitumen (asphalt) and naphtha as a raw material in the petrochemical sector. This only concerns the fossil fuel component. Back to article
