Situation deteriorates for manufacturing industry
Conditions for the Dutch manufacturing industry have deteriorated in May 2013 compared with one month previously.. The data currently available show that 4 of the 6 indicators have deteriorated.
Dutch consumption dropped sharply. Producer confidence, exports and German industrial orders showed a moderate decline. Consumer confidence showed a slight improvement, but remains low. European industrial production also improved slightly: the decrease is smaller than in April.
All indicators are below their long-term average
