This interactive map shows the share of people with a foreign background per municipality on 1 January 2011. Statistics Netherlands distinguishes between western and non-western backgrounds. The non-western group is broken down into groups by origin: Morocco, (Former) Netherlands Antilles and Aruba, Suriname, Turkey and other.
