The Netherlands is well matched with the other leading nations in ICT. Telework has expanded rapidly: half of all companies in the Netherlands facilitate telework. More and more Dutch people buy products and services online, and ICT has further penetrated the public sector. The Digital Economy provides information on the ICT sector, on the relation between ICT and economy and on the telecommunications infrastructure.
In this edition a chapter on ICT knowledge has been included for the first time.
