Quick-guide to online questionnaire on International Trade in Services.

This is a brief guide on how to report on the online questionnaire on International Trade in Services survey. You can find all information about this survey and all definitions of international services using the link Manual on International trade in services.

   

Start questionnaire

  

To open the online questionnaire, please go to https://formulieren.cbs.nl.

In the letter you have received from Statistics Netherlands you can find your User name and the Access code. Log on by filling in your User name and then Access code and press on the yellow button “Akkoord”  at the bottom of the page to proceed.

You will arrive at the introductory homepage. You can scroll further using the button “Volgende”   at the bottom of the page.

 

On the following screen you will be asked whether you have had services transactions or not. If you have had services transactions in the relevant quarter, please press on “Ja”, if no, press on “Nee”.

 

 

On the next screen you will be asked whether you have had merchanting and/ or Dutch custom warehouses transactions. If you have had these transactions in the relevant quarter, please press on “Ja”, if no, press on “Nee”.

To proceed, please press on the button “Akkoord” 

 

If you have nothing to declare

In case you have had no services transactions nor merchanting or Dutch custom warehouses in relevant quarter, you will be forwarded to the last screen where you can fill your contact information.

You can print your declaration by pressing the button “Afdrukken”  

and you can send your declaration to Statistics Netherland by pressing the button “Verzenden” 

How to fill out the required information

Services

If you have had services transactions in the relevant quarter, please, make your choice by using the Manual on International Trade in Services. You can use the Services codes correspondence table to find the English translation of Dutch services codes.

On this screen you have to indicate what kind of transaction you have had. For export of the relevant service item klick on the heading “Uitvoer” and for import of the relevant service item klick on the heading “Invoer”.

To proceed, please press on the button “Akkoord” 

You will get a page for the relevant service item where you can report your amount for the export under the heading “Uitvoer” or import under the heading “Invoer”.

Please, note: all amounts should be reported in thousands of euros and rounded to the nearest euro. For example: an amount of € 23,669 has to be reported as 24.

Merchanting and Dutch custom warehouses

If you have reported on the second screen to have had merchanting and/ or Dutch custom warehouses in relevant quarter, you will be forwarded to the following screen.

On this screen you can report your acquisition of merchanting goods and goods from Dutch custom warehouses under the heading “Invoer” and sale of merchanting goods and goods from Dutch custom warehouses under the heading “Uitvoer”. Please note, you have to report the purchase of goods under merchanting and goods from Dutch custom warehouses (as imports) in the quarter these goods are resold (as exports) even if the actual purchase occurs in a previous quarter.

To proceed, please press on the button “Akkoord”  

How to send your questionnaire

To send your questionnaire, press on “Verzenden” 

You can always use the return button  to see the details of your declaration.

Receipt

An e-mail receipt will be sent to the e-mail address you have filled under the contact information.
