In 2015, fire station control rooms received a total of 234 thousand reports of incident, slightly more than in 2014. Over half of these cases were fire emergencies, the other calls were requests for assistance. The frequency of fire alarm call-outs by control rooms went up by 14 percent over 2015.

Nearly 41 thousand fires were registered last year; 23 thousand were outside fires. The number of outside fires has not been this low since the late 1980s.
The departure time of Dutch fire services has improved further in 2009. On average, it takes 5 minutes for fire engines to leave the station after a fire alarm has been received.
The amount of damage caused by fires totalled 1 billion euro in 2008, the highest amount since 2003. The number of fires declined marginally relative to 2007, but fires claimed more lives.
Fire brigades arrive sooner at the scene in the case of chimney and indoor fires. Last year, the dispatch time, i.e. the time interval between receipt of the alarm in the emergency room and departure from the fire station has been reduced.
The Dutch fire services received 47 reports of fires in 2007. This is 5 percent fewer than in 2006.
