Labour force (12-hours threshold)

People:
- who have paid work for twelve hours or more (employed labour force (12-hours threshold)), or
- who don't have paid work or for less than twelve hours per week, recently looked for work for twelve hours or more per week and are directly available for it (unemployed labour force (12-hours-threshold)).
This definition of the labour force was used in publications of Statistics Netherlands until 2015. The definition concerns people who live in the Netherlands (excluding the institutionalized population). The figures are usually presented for the population aged 15 to 65 years old.
