The inactive population are people aged 15 and over claiming benefits (AOW, ANW, ZW, WAO, WAZ, Wajong, WW, benefits for hold-ups due to frost, ABW, IOAW and IOAZ). The active population are people aged 15 and over with jobs (in fulltime equivalents), minus the absence due to sickness (in years).
