The region of North Limburg has been classified as a COROP region. A COROP region is a cluster of one or more adjoining municipalities within the same province, designed for conducting regional research. The COROP classification is a regional level in between municipalities and provinces. This division into 40 areas represents level 3 of the European NUTS classification. Back to article
