Investments in residential property again showed strong growth in October.

Investment data have not been adjusted for calendar effects. October 2016 has one working day less than October 2015. According to the CBS Investment Radar, the investment climate in the Netherlands is more favourable in December than in October.

Investment climate more favourable in December

According to the CBS Investment Radar, the investment climate in the Netherlands is more favourable in December than in October. This is mainly because, on a year-on-year basis, exports have grown more in December than in October. The development of Dutch share prices, however, is less favourable on an annual basis. The investment climate is affected by various factors like the situation on the global and financial markets.
