Companies under foreign control

The distinction between domestic and foreign companies is made on the basis of the country where the ultimate control is exercised. The Ultimate Controlling Institutional Unit (UCI) is defined as the company, higher up in the control chain where the Dutch company is part of, not under control of another company. Foreign control means that the country where the UCI is located can be any country other than the Netherlands.
