Spending of Dutch travellers abroad, including goods and services they purchased just across the border and during day trips. Tourists account for the bulk of travel spending. The shares of purchases made across the border and daytrips are substantial, but apply only to Germany and Belgium. Figures reported in this release are excluding other private travel spending by Dutch people (e.g. for health, education) and excluding business travel.
