Statistics Netherlands (CBS) reports that the volume of investments in tangible fixed assets grew by 10.6 percent in June 2016 relative to the same month last year. The increase is more substantial than in the preceding month. Investments in aircraft and residential property almost entirely account for the increase.

Investment data are not adjusted for calendar effects. June 2016 has the same number of working days as June 2015.

According to the CBS Investment Radar, the investment climate in the Netherlands is somewhat less favourable in August than in June.

According to Statistics Netherlands’ Investment Radar, the investment climate in the Netherlands are somewhat less favourable in August compared to June. August’s Investment Radar shows that growth in exports was smaller relative to June’s radar.

Investments are related to factors including the situation on the world markets and on the financial markets.
