Statistics Netherlands (CBS) reports that the volume of investments in tangible fixed assets grew by 16.7 percent in February 2016 relative to February 2015. The increase is more substantial than in the preceding month. This is mainly due to an increase in investments in residential property and airplanes.

Investment data are not adjusted for calendar effects. February 2016 had one working day more than February 2015. According to Statistics Netherlands’ Investment Radar, the investment climate in the Netherlands is slightly more positive in March and April than in February.
