The European Commission (EC) calculates figures on producer confidence in manufacturing industry in the member states of the European Union. These figures are mutually comparable, although EC producer confidence figures for the Netherlands usually vary from those released by CBS for the Netherlands. This is partly caused by the use of a different method for correction of bias and seasonal effects.
