Cloud computing is a service, which allows users to store files on the internet, for example by means of programmes like DropBox, Apple iCloud, GoogleDrive or Microsoft OneDrive. The survey question was: ‘Did you store private documents, pictures, music, videos or other files on the internet during the past 3 months, for example by using programmes like DropBox, Apple iCloud, GoogleDrive or Windows Skydrive?’ Only files which can sometimes be shared with others are taken into account.
