The category ‘other energy sources’ includes renewable energy, nuclear energy, waste and net imports of electricity. In absolute terms, the use of other energy sources is much lower than the use of natural gas or petroleum derivatives. Although proportionally higher, the reduction in absolute terms is smaller compared to petroleum (a reduction by 39 PJ) and compared to other energy sources (a reduction by 12 PJ).
