The numbers of participants in apprenticeship training programmes are not equal to the number of mbo students presented in StatLine, because not every mbo student participates in an apprenticeship training programme on the date the StatLine information is based on. Students can also, for example, join or drop out during the school year. These effects were taken into account when total spending on apprenticeship training programmes was calculated.
