Part of the petrol and diesel sold on the commercial market has to contain renewable energy. In fact, this is done by adding biofuels to conventional petrol and diesel. In this article, figures on biofuels released by Statistics Netherlands do not show that motor fuel suppliers comply with the obligation to mix petrol and diesel with biofuels.
