Information on satisfaction with the lives people are living is based on data from the health module of the Integrated System of Social Surveys (POLS). The following question is asked in combination with the response categories below: ‘To what extent are you satisfied with the life you are currently living?’ 1. Extremely satisfied; 2. Very satisfied; 3. Satisfied; 4. Rather satisfied; 5. Not very satisfied. The response categories in this survey are satisfied (1,2,3) and not (so) satisfied (4,5).
