Persons having a pension as their primary source of income, who were still employed one year ago. This article is based on the primary source of income in the month of September in a particular year. Data on retirement are drawn from the Social Statistical Database. The status of figures referring to 2009 and 2010 is preliminary and based upon data about all income relations in the Netherlands, the so-called Polisadministratie.
